Bio

Milo White began to find himself around 2014. That is to say he began to realize he was an artist.  As it is with many artists it was difficult at first to even call himself one. As time went on he realized he was actually an artist his whole life and just didn't realize it.

Wood building blocks and Legos, (plastic sculpture material right?) were huge in his early development as a child, as well as a unique appreciation for music, nature, computers, and a propensity for problem solving and design. These and many other things have shaped Milo into the unique artist he is today.

Working predominantly in the medium of metal, Milo currently creates his art out of his studio/gallery located in Sedro Woolley, WA. His work is scattered throughout the United States along with showing his work regionally at galleries throughout the West including Bellingham, Anacortes, Camano Island, and Portland, Oregon.

Milo says, “I draw upon all of my life’s experiences daily, to achieve a fresh take on the age-old form of expression that we call art today”. A mantra of his- “How would I do that?”

“We exist in a four dimensional world - I think that’s why I'm most at home expressing myself through sculpture. We can walk around it- experience it from different perspectives and vantages much like our own journey through life. Sometimes we notice things that have been there the whole time. I often hear people say “I've seen this several times and every time, I notice something new”. Although I don't necessarily think they mean it as a compliment, I find great satisfaction in it.“
