Why Clay…

Clay is my first love, not that it was what drew me to art in the first place, but that it holds a primal place in my heart. It is an amazing media! I approach it from a variety of perspectives, even treating it as a support for paintings. Though much of my clay works are drawn from the world of raku pottery, I am began studying clay to become a high-fire production potter which still delights me when I get access to a hight temperature gas kiln.
